Upcycling Workshop:

Join our Sip & Sew Upcycling Workshop to learn upcycling techniques that let you create from your own surroundings. You'll acquire a new skill while designing your custom winter accessory. We provide all materials, light drinks, and food—just bring yourself. Choose from three projects (triangle scarf, mittens, or balaclava), learn to design and cut your piece from upcycled sweaters, and we'll sew the finished product for you to take home. Great for all skill levels.

**Materials are provided- but if you have an old sweater that you’d like to rework into something new- feel free to bring it along.

About Gathered Workshop Series:

The Gathered Workshop series is a monthly creative workshop where, each session, we explore new ways to observe our surroundings and uncover inspiration in the materials already around us. Together, we’ll investigate what can be gathered from our natural environment, such as: waste materials, found objects, local techniques, and learn new practices from the people in our community, to create independently and intentionally. The series highlights that meaningful creation doesn’t require extensive resources or reaching beyond our immediate environment; instead, we can make powerful work by embracing what we already have.
